Life moves pretty fast…

Capping our exciting sixth season, the Fools take a trip to Grover's Corners and raise Thornton Wilder's Our Town to acrobatic new heights. After great success workshopping the production as part of Arena Stage's Kogod Cradle Series last year, we are excited to present a fully-staged, extended run of Wilder's original text at Gallaudet University in May-June of 2015. With sensitivity to Wilder's use of pantomime, direct address, and metatheatrical commentary, we apply a Commedia sensibility to re-discover the classical archetypes still familiar in Our Town today. As one audience member said at last year's sneak peak, "I always cry at Our Town. At this I laughed and cried."
